According to Canal+, rumors of a potential transfer of the Australian to the German team are gaining momentum, where he would be the substitute for Lewis Hamilton and George Russell in case of absence. The channel indicates that contract negotiations are already at an advanced stage.
The available seats are becoming increasingly rare for the next season. There is still a vacant seat at Haas, where Mick Schumacher will probably not renew his contract, as well as at Alpine after Fernando Alonso’s departure, and potentially at AlphaTauri, where Pierre Gasly has not yet re-signed.
According to other rumors, still from Canal+, the Dutchman Nyck de Vries would replace Pierre Gasly at AlphaTauri next season, while the Frenchman would move to Alpine. As for the American team, which doesn’t seem to be in a rush to announce its second driver, allegations are circulating regarding the name of the German Nico Hülkenberg, former teammate of Daniel Ricciardo at Renault, and absent from Formula 1 for two years.
