The start of the Singapore Grand Prix postponed due to the downpour
The start of the Formula 1 race is postponed to 15:05, as torrents of rain pour down on the Singapore circuit.

Just like in Thailand for the Moto GP, the starting procedure of the Formula 1 race in Singapore is postponed while the downpour shows no sign of easing. The Grand Prix was originally scheduled to start at 2 pm. The race management has announced that the start will now take place at 3:05 pm, French time.
As you can see from the tweets of the teams below, it is pouring rain at Marina Bay. A heavy storm is hitting the circuit.
