Pérez summoned to the stewards for a violation under Safety car regulations
Sergio Perez received a summons from the race stewards following the Singapore Grand Prix, in which he crossed the finish line as the winner. The Mexican driver is said to have not adhered to the rules under the safety car regime.

The result of the Singapore Grand Prix is not yet fully confirmed! In fact, shortly after the cars in the Parc Fermé, Sergio Pérez and Red Bull were ordered to go to the stewards’ office following the post-race protocol.

The Mexican driver is accused of having violated article 55.10 of the FIA Sporting Regulations by not staying within 10 car lengths of the safety car, as instructed by the race director.
The driver with number 11 and his team are summoned this Sunday at 5:55pm. If the Mexican receives more than 8 seconds of penalty, the victory will go to Charles Leclerc and Ferrari.
Update at 8:00 PM: The FIA has given a 5-second penalty to Sergio Perez, but the Mexican retains his victory in Singapore.
