Mexico is a country that has been buzzing with excitement for motorsport for many years. The round of the Formula 1 World Championship that takes place at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez is a perfect example of this. Enthusiastic crowds, dedicated fans, and a race that is a true celebration are just a few of the unique features that can only be found during this special weekend.

The history of Mexican motorsport is rich with iconic drivers like Ricardo Rodriguez, and it continues to be written with talented drivers like Sergio Pérez (Red Bull) who will be eager to come out on top during his home Grand Prix this weekend. This wall of honor is a true monument that honors and rewards the efforts of drivers, engineers, journalists, and other important figures who have contributed to the success of Mexican motorsport.

After six decades of history, we receive a significant legacy from all Mexicans that commits us to not forget their efforts and to honor those who have contributed to cement the glorious history that we are experiencing today in motorsport, declared Alejandro Soberón, President and CEO of the CIE group.

The first 19 members of the Mexican Motor Racing Hall of Fame were inducted and their names were immortalized in a permanent display located in the control tower of the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. Among them are Ricardo Rodriguez, Memo Rojas Senior, and Pedro Rodriguez, among others.

The facility can accommodate up to 144 Mexican racing legends. The Mexican Grand Prix aims to involve fans and the general public, allowing them to become part of the history of the Mexican Grand Prix by selecting their legends of the next generation.
