The drivers want more safety in the paddocks
Formula 1 fans present at the Mexican Grand Prix are too enthusiastic and are hindering the drivers. The drivers would like rules to be established to limit the abuse of certain supporters.

The paddock is one of the most appreciated places for drivers, where they can move around peacefully. But this weekend, on the occasion of the Mexican Grand Prix, fans go too far and drivers can no longer move freely.
Pierre Gasly spoke about the unique situation at the Mexican Grand Prix, where fans and VIPs do not respect the boundaries with the drivers. The French driver’s team even had to manage a group of fans who had infiltrated the middle of the garage to take a photo with one of the drivers.
“Allowing people in is good, but it’s true that I have the feeling that some guests don’t always respect the space we need,” said the AlphaTauri driver to The Race.
The Italian team’s driver was also surrounded by a group of fans on Friday morning as he was arriving at the circuit.
Daniel Ricciardo would like rules to be put in place preventively to warn invading fans. If they establish guidelines, maybe it will help because there are none at the moment. If it’s just a little awareness, then maybe they will be a little cooler. I don’t want that to change. Adults need to act like adults.
