Sebastian Vettel invites fans to take part in his last race with a special helmet
The four-time world champion will bid farewell to Formula 1 in Abu Dhabi on November 20. For his final race, Sebastian Vettel is giving his fans the chance to appear on his helmet via an auction.

Sunday, November 20th will undoubtedly be a quite sad day for many Formula 1 fans. Sebastian Vettel will bid farewell to the sport after more than 15 years (!) of good and loyal service, four world championship titles, 57 pole positions, 53 victories, and 69 podium finishes spread across 16 seasons.
To conclude this career worthy of the greatest, the German is organizing an auction in which he gives his fans the opportunity to appear on the last helmet that he will wear, no more, no less. Via the website final-lap.de, you can make an offer – the lowest being 50 euros – in the hope of getting a spot on the champion’s helmet. The highest bid is 42 million euros. The sale ends this Thursday, November 10 at 9pm.
After the auction has been confirmed and payment has been made, you will be able to upload a photo of yourself which will be placed on one of the 1000 available slots of the “FINAL LAP” helmet. All successful bidders will also be featured in a photo gallery and will receive a “FINAL LAP” certificate of authenticity by email after the campaign.
Sebastian Vettel explains that all profits will go to an environmental charity, an action that is not really surprising given how much the Aston Martin driver advocates for good causes, especially in recent years of his career. He actively supports LGBTQ rights and has spoken out about climate change, social equality, and wildlife protection.
