Mick Schumacher could become reserve driver for Mercedes
The son of the seven-time German world champion does not have a secure future in Formula 1 for the coming seasons. Toto Wolff spoke about the team's relationship with the young German driver, who could become a reserve driver for Mercedes next season.
The announcement of the second Haas driver for the 2023 season is eagerly awaited in the paddock as it is the last available seat in Formula 1 for next season. In this complicated context that does not offer any prospects for Mick Schumacher as a Formula 1 regular driver, the German driver could potentially head towards a position as a reserve driver in the pinnacle of motor racing. One of the teams that could welcome him is Mercedes. Toto Wolff primarily wishes for the Haas driver to secure a regular seat, but he does not completely rule out the possibility of him joining the German team.
