Lewis Hamilton thinks there will be no problems with Russell next year

“I am much older and have been with the team for so long,” declared the British champion. “So, handling the challenges we face to move forward, we have been through so much, that I don’t think it will be a problem.”

Lewis Hamilton does not downplay the performances of his teammate this season and even declares being impressed by him. George Russell has been very impressive since his debut in the team and has secured numerous podium finishes. However, it is important to remember that he has been part of the Mercedes group for many years and was already accustomed to working with this team.

I think it’s normal to say that it’s impressive what he has done this year, the consistency he has had, the way he has arrived and yet is only just beginning.
