Max Verstappen officially receives his second world championship title
The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile organized an awards ceremony in Bologna. Max Verstappen collected the second Formula 1 World Championship trophy of his career.
The FIA awards ceremony is an event coveted by all Formula 1 drivers who dream of one day receiving the world champion trophy. After a season in 2022 where he dominated the championship, Max Verstappen has obtained the title for the second consecutive year.
A special reward
This 2022 season was dominated by Red Bull and Max Verstappen. This element adds another dimension to the second title for the Dutch driver, who is thrilled to triumph with his team. The Austrian team won 17 out of the 22 Grand Prix races this season. They thus clinch the constructor title for the 5th time in their history, the first time since 2013.
