The Mercedes W14 has a presentation date
It was on Toto Wolff's birthday that Mercedes announced the date for the presentation of their next race car.
It was on social media that Mercedes announced the launch date of its new race car, the W14. This new silver arrow will have the heavy responsibility of helping the German team return to victory. Indeed, the W13, with its sidepod-less concept, took a long time to deliver results. While it is not yet clear which technical direction the 2023 race car of the star brand will take, what we already know is that its presentation will take place on February 15th.
The launch date of the W14 falls between that of Ferrari and Alpine. Toto Wolff’s team is the 7th team in the pack to announce its presentation date. Now, we are only waiting for Red Bull, Alfa Romeo, and Haas to announce theirs.
In addition to announcing the unveiling date of the W14 on Toto Wolff’s birthday, it is also amusing to realize that February 15th is also George Russell’s birthdate.
