Dakar 2023 – Stage 11: Fourth consecutive victory for Loeb
Sébastien Loeb definitely doesn't let go on this Dakar end. Winner of his fourth consecutive stage, his fifth on this 2023 edition, the BRX driver is now only a handful of minutes away from second place in the overall standings.

What a finish in Dakar for Sébastien Loeb! Since Sunday, the stage victories have been piling up for the Alsacian. Despite the potential handicap of being the opening car, the nine-time world rally champion drove as he knows how to, pedal to the metal and in full control. It now appears evident that Loeb has become a specialist of the desert and dunes.
Thanks to this victory, the BRX driver is once again chipping away at the overall second-place gap behind the Brazilian, Lucas Moraes. Now less than ten minutes behind the Toyota driver, Loeb knows that the runner-up position to Nasser Al-Attiyah is within his reach. The Qatari once again drove fast but cautiously, conceding nearly seven minutes to the French driver.
Always well positioned since the rest day, Matthias Ekström finishes once again in the Top 3. This is bound to give even more regrets to Audi, who had the car to perform in the dunes.
The Empty Quarter’s expedition will continue tomorrow for the second part of the marathon stage. The main focus will be the fight for second place overall between Loeb and Moraes. However, we should still keep an eye on Nasser Al-Attiyah’s attitude, who has been preserved from major problems so far.
