The Italian-Swiss team will be the third to unveil its livery for 2023, after Red Bull on February 3rd and Williams on February 6th. Following them, AlphaTauri on February 11th, McLaren and Aston Martin on the 13th, and Ferrari on February 14th, Valentine’s Day. Mercedes will unveil its livery on the 15th, and finally Alpine on the 16th. Only Haas is still missing.
This year 2023 marks the last season of the partnership between Sauber and Alfa Romeo before Audi takes over next year. Another significant change is that Frédéric Vasseur moves from Ferrari’s “sister team” to the Scuderia, replacing Mattia Binotto. Meanwhile, Andreas Seidl has been poached from McLaren to become the new CEO of the Sauber group. However, we still do not know the identity of the team principal for Alfa Romeo to guide Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou, the same duo as last year.
