Alessandro Alunni Bravi, the new manager of Alfa Romeo
Sauber Group announces this Thursday in a press release the appointment of a new team manager for Alfa Romeo. It's Alessandro Alunni Bravi, currently the group's CEO.

Frédéric Vasseur now has a replacement! The Italian, a lawyer by training, « who has been part of the Sauber Group since 2017, will add this role to his name for the 2023 season and beyond, representing the team in all official functions during race weekends and off-track. » declares the press release.
This appointment represents one of the first tasks accomplished by Andreas Seidl, CEO of the Sauber Group since January 9, 2023. This decision will allow Alunni Bravi, in his additional role, to work with the technical and operational departments to pursue the growth and success of the team, while providing internal and external stakeholders with the value that the Alfa Romeo F1 Team is known for producing, as specified.
Andreas Seidl expressed his satisfaction with this decision, adding that his extensive experience in motorsport has provided him with all the necessary tools for success. His intimate knowledge of the team, of which he has been a part for over five years, will ensure stability and continuity in our progress. The fact that Alessandro will represent the team during the Formula 1 championship will allow me to focus on the growth of the group and the preparation for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
Alessandro Alunni Bravi, on the other hand, expressed his thanks to Seidl for his trust. « I would like to thank Andreas and our shareholders for their trust, and I would like to reiterate my commitment to give my best to meet their expectations and represent the team in the best possible way. […] I am fully aware of the work that lies ahead and the challenges that come with it: I approach this task with humility, knowing that I am part of a strong team that will get the job done, and with the conviction that we have everything we need for a successful future. »
