Leclerc closes the ball at Fiorano
Ferrari concludes today three days of testing on its Fiorano track. After Robert Shwartzmann on Tuesday and Carlos Sainz yesterday, it is now Charles Leclerc's turn to take the wheel of the SF21.

The Monegasque driver finishes this training session with more luck than his colleagues, as the rain stopped on the Maranello side. This allowed him to take off in the late morning under the sun, on an almost dry track. It should be noted that Leclerc trained for two days on a simulator to familiarize himself with Project 675.
The difficult weather conditions yesterday posed a challenge for Carlos Sainz, who had to alternate between two types of tires. When the day started to dry up, he tried the slicks but quickly switched back to the wets due to lack of grip. It rained again in the afternoon at Fiorano, so the team decided not to take unnecessary risks and sent Carlos out on rain tires once again. Eventually, he was able to also drive on slicks, completing 93 laps for a total of 119 for the day, equivalent to 354 kilometers. Ferrari announced this.
During part of the day, two “students” from the Ferrari Driver Academy were in the pit lane: the young female hopeful Maya Weug and Arthur Leclerc, who thus had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the workings of a Formula 1 team.
After these three intensive days, the Italian team will have a little respite before the presentation of their new car for the 2023 season on February 14th next.
