Alfa Romeo launched an artistic project with German designer BOOGIE. The bodywork of one of the team’s cars was customized with aerosol cans. The artwork was unveiled in a high-end hotel in the Swiss Alps.

The German artist, specializing in graffiti, has thus found a new canvas. But beyond being a work of art, this monoplace symbolizes the beginning of a new campaign aiming to bring fans of the team closer, declares the Alfa Romeo press release.

The Art Car will already be visible in real life in London at the Stake booth during the Global Gaming Hub. The team will also invite some of its most loyal fans to discover the car and work with the artist to finalize the project’s details. Finally, everyone will be able to admire the Art Car from home. To do this, JigSpace, a partner of the Alfa Romeo F1 Team, has created a customized 3D model of the car that is available in augmented reality.

In one year, at the end of the campaign, the race car will be auctioned off to raise funds for Save the Children, the charitable partner of the Italian racing team.

Of course, nothing to do with the C43 whose presentation date is still scheduled for February 7th from Zurich.
