McLaren gives a special name to its 2023 single-seater
Before its launch in a few days, the team founded by Bruce McLaren has unveiled the name of its Formula 1 2023, which pays tribute to its founder.

In a few days, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri’s new Formula 1 car will be officially unveiled.
The logic implemented since 2017, with the MCL nomenclature, led us to believe that the McLaren 2023 would be named the MCL37, as it would have been logical based on their previous car designations.
However, the team based in Woking has decided to put an end to this streak by announcing that F1 2023 will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the creation, by Bruce McLaren, of the McLaren team by naming itself: MCL60.
“Proud of our past. We embrace our present. We shape our future,” indicated the legendary English team through its networks.
Proud of our past. Embracing our present. Shaping our future. 👊
