The Aston Martin AMR23 on track for the first time
Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll took the wheel of their new single-seater at Silverstone on Wednesday, February 15th.
Two days after its presentation, Aston Martin took its 2023 F1 car for a spin on the Silverstone circuit, located close to their new factory. This filming day only allows the team to cover 100 kilometers, which Lance Stroll and the new recruit Fernando Alonso have to share.
Aston Martin had a poor start to last season and had to work on the concept throughout the season in order to make progress in the second half. The team wants to continue on this momentum in 2023.
This shakedown is an opportunity to test the car for the first time before the pre-season tests in Bahrain next week.
