Oscar Piastri reveals his helmet for his first F1 season
Just a few days before the start of the 2023 F1 season, the new McLaren driver Oscar Piastri revealed the design of his helmet for his first steps as a full-time driver in the pinnacle of motorsport.

This week, the first laps of the new F1 cars are taking place as part of the winter testing in Bahrain. This is an opportunity for teams to test their new single-seaters, and for drivers to find the best settings in order to start the new season well, which will begin on March 5th.
For his first season in F1, Australian driver Oscar Piastri took advantage of the growing buzz surrounding his sport to unveil the design of the helmet he will be wearing alongside Lando Norris at McLaren. Very colorful with blue, orange, and yellow stripes, this helmet is reminiscent of Fernando Alonso’s early days, which showcased the Spanish flag.
Flag, it is mentioned on the sides and on top of Piastri’s helmet since the colors of Australia, the country where Mark Webber’s protege is from, are well represented. Finally, the race number of the Melbourne native, 81, completes the design of the helmet above the driver’s head.
