Pre-Season Testing Bahrain – Day 2: Sainz leads at the break
The pre-season tests in Bahrain are in full swing this Friday, February 24. Everything went smoothly this morning, with the teams not yet fully revealing themselves.

This third testing session went smoothly. Carlos Sainz sets the fastest time in 1’32”486, ahead of Logan Sargeant and Fernando Alonso. Yuki Tusnoda records the slowest time in 1’35”708.
Everyone is very wise at the beginning of the second day. The teams continue to carry out numerous tests, notably using the Pito probes to test the correlation of the airflow data between the theories evaluated in the wind tunnel and CFD and the actual track conditions.
The last fifteen minutes of these four hours of driving were used for safety car and standing start simulations as requested by the FIA.
