Piastri is the “opposite” of Ricciardo according to his teammate Lando Norris
While the first Grand Prix of the season has not yet taken place, Lando Norris is already making a comparison between the two Australians and finds a definite difference.
After concluding the pre-season tests together, Lando Norris gave his first impression of his new 21-year-old teammate, and according to him, Oscar Piastri is the “opposite” of the now Red Bull third driver, Daniel Ricciardo, former McLaren driver in 2021 and 2022.

Piastri, who is convinced that he can do better than his predecessor at McLaren, was able to get more familiar with his team during the MCL60 tests in Bahrain. And during these three days, Lando Norris noticed some differences with his previous teammate.
“It’s definitely a great moment for him to make his debut,” the Briton indicated.
“I feel like I’m speaking as if I were very experienced,” he says, laughing in front of the journalists. “I guess it’s just the beginning since I’m in my fifth year now. But it’s a big moment for him, so I’m sure he’s looking forward to it.”
