“Aston Martin, a promising team according to Christian Horner”

When assessing the progress of his competitors, Christian Horner identifies Aston Martin as a promising team, stating that the British team has taken a big step forward.
« It seems that their car concept has allowed them to make progress and they don’t seem to be very far behind, so Fernando Alonso in particular seems very competitive. » he asserts for the official Formula 1 website.
However, he appears more timid regarding Ferrari and Mercedes, against whom Red Bull will have to fight to retain its title. « Very difficult to say [about the progress]. I mean, Ferrari seems to be fast, Mercedes’ form is hard to read at the moment. Are they holding anything back? We will see next week; I think everything will be clear then. »
On his own team’s side, Horner is satisfied with the work done and is particularly happy with the comments that his driver, Sergio Perez, has provided regarding the performance of the RB19.
« The development of the car and the direction in which we will seek to optimize the car for future races are therefore consistent on both sides of the garage, which is encouraging,” he said.
