If the popularity of Formula 1 has been growing in recent years, the revenues generated by English Premier League clubs remain far superior. That is why Liberty Media, the holder of the commercial rights for Formula 1, has formed a partnership with one of the London clubs, namely Tottenham Hotspur. The latter has a brand new stadium, which is intended to host numerous entertainment events.

In this case, it is about building two electric karting tracks under the stadium, as well as a training program to feed the pool of drivers and staff for the discipline. Stefano Domenicali, the president of F1, commented: “As we seek to grow our sport, partnering with globally recognized brands like Tottenham Hotspur allows us to expose F1 and motorsports to new and more diverse audiences. The karting experience will become a destination for families, friends, and aspiring drivers from around the world. This will allow us to interact with new audiences and provide an accessible entry point to the world of motorsports.”

These tracks will be approved in order to be able to host races of the national karting championship. This also allows the development of a new commercial area, with bars and restaurants, in order to generate additional income for both parties.
