Lance Stroll ready for Bahrain
Injured after a bike fall, he missed the pre-season trials last week, yet he will be there for the first Grand Prix of the season starting tomorrow.

Aston Martin had remained very vague about Lance Stroll’s health status and had announced that Felipe Drugovich would replace him in case of his withdrawal.
The news broke this morning, he will finally be behind the wheel of the AMR23. The Aston Martin team is pleased to confirm that Lance Stroll will participate in the Bahrain Grand Prix this weekend, the team announced.
“It was an unfortunate accident – I fell off my motorcycle when my tire got caught in a pothole – but fortunately, the damages were not significant and a minor surgery on my right wrist quickly resolved the issue. Since then, I have been working hard with my team to ensure that I am fully fit to compete this weekend,” the Canadian driver announced in the statement.
Felipe Drugovich and Stoffel Vandoorne will both remain on-site as reserve drivers for the team this weekend.
