Fernando Alonso: « It’s incredible to finish on the podium of the first race »
Fernando Alonso achieved his 99th career podium at the Bahrain Grand Prix. This performance confirms that the AMR23 will be a strong contender in the upcoming races.
In the fifth round, Fernando Alonso had a superb race, as evidenced by the third place he achieved. After getting out of the car, he first praised the performance of his teammate Lance Stroll (6th), who had come back after undergoing hand surgery recently.
