Max Verstappen absent from the media day in Jeddah
The double world champion will not be present for the media day this Thursday at the Jeddah circuit. The Dutch driver has suffered from gastroenteritis, which forced him to postpone his flight.

Red Bull announced this Thursday morning that its world champion would be arriving late to the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. After being ill in the past few days, he had to postpone his flight.
The driver has been authorized by the FIA to not participate in the media engagements on Thursday, which gives him an extra day to recover.
Max has been suffering from a stomach illness in recent days, and with the approval of the FIA, he will not be present on the track today.
The good news is that he now feels “good” and will be present at the first free practice session on Friday.
« I feel good again, after being unavailable for a few days due to a stomach problem », says Verstappen.
« Therefore, unfortunately, I had to postpone my flight by a day, and I will therefore not be on the runway before Friday. »
« Meet me in Jeddah! »
