Norris denounces “nonsense” about McLaren departure rumors
After Sainz and Leclerc, it's Lando Norris' turn to silence the rumors. Recently, there have been rumors about McLaren's departure, which the British driver categorically denies.

During the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix press conference, Lando Norris responded to the rumors of a supposed departure from McLaren.
« I think I’m at a point where it doesn’t affect me at all,” he said. « It doesn’t bother me, except when it comes to nonsense that people try to invent, and completely false stories that people tell.”
The British person regrets criticisms that go too far, affecting certain members of the team. « I think that, up to a certain point, severe criticisms are acceptable. It’s logical. We don’t like it when it’s excessive and the members of the team start being affected, especially because some of them might not know all the truths. »
He insists on being transparent with the members of the stable by explaining things, telling them what is happening, and telling his version of the story to ensure the smooth running of the season.
As a reminder, Lando Norris’ contract, renewed last year, runs until 2025.
