The cover of F1 23 presented
In addition to unveiling the cover of its upcoming game, EA took advantage today to announce the date of the first trailer for F1 23.

One of the big questions surrounding F1 games is who will be featured on the cover. Between F1 2009 and F1 2014, no driver was represented on the covers. They only featured either 3D renderings of anonymous drivers or disguised models of racing cars in the shadows. The trend then changed with F1 2015, where the busts of the main protagonists of that season were depicted. In 2018, the concept of special covers for each region of the world was introduced. This explains that in France, if you bought a copy of F1 2019, it would be the faces of Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly who would be looking at you, not those of Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton, who were present on the international version.
Before revealing the cover for the standard edition of the game, Electronic Arts published, on their social media networks, the Champions Edition cover. Last year, the Champions Edition allowed players, for an additional 20 euros, to start the game with more bitcoins, additional legendary drivers for the My Team Mode, or exclusive Supercars for this version of the game. Therefore, Max Verstappen will be the ambassador for this special edition of the game. The American company also announced that Max Verstappen had become their new ambassador.
It was then through Charles Leclerc’s social media networks, who is also an ambassador of the game, that we were presented with the cover of the standard edition. This one takes on a more traditional format with the portraits of Hamilton, Leclerc, and Norris. A less original arrangement that had already begun to be criticized during the release of its predecessor, F1 22.
