The AlphaTauri headquarters affected by severe weather conditions
The Emilia-Romagna region has been experiencing severe weather conditions for the past two days. Faenza, the headquarters of AlphaTauri, and the employees of the team have been affected.
The violent weather conditions that have been striking Emilia-Romagna without interruption for the past 48 hours have damaged the headquarters of the AlphaTauri racing team, based in Faenza, located in the southeast of the region. Several victims have been reported due to the heavy rainfall and resulting floods.
Two people were killed near Faenza, as indicated by AlphaTauri in a statement. The team affirms that several employees of the F1 team and their families have also been affected.
Before the Miami GP, the team wanted to react: The city of Faenza, home to our Scuderia AlphaTauri factory, and other parts of the Emilia-Romagna region were hit by a violent rainstorm. It caused severe flooding, resulting in the loss of two lives in the region, as well as extensive damage in some parts of Faenza and the surrounding areas. It also affected some of our employees, and in this difficult time, our thoughts go out to them and all those affected.
