Albon hopes that the weather will come to disrupt the party
While some weather forecasts predicted a high percentage of rain during the Monaco Grand Prix weekend, Alex Albon believes that it could lead to an "unpredictable" event.

Alex Albon hopes that the weather conditions will create “surprises” during the Monaco Grand Prix, as this iconic circuit is known for the challenges it presents to the drivers. Several weather stations have reported a high risk of rain for the weekend.
Albon – who has so far scored the only point for Williams this season 2023 – is eager to see the impact that weather conditions could have on the race result: « It’s a weekend where we focus more on Saturday than on Sunday, which is quite rare. […] Since there are no run-off areas, we can’t attack it in the same way as other circuits we’ve been on. In terms of competitiveness, it will be interesting, but I hope the weather creates some surprises and makes the race a bit more unpredictable. »
Dave Robson, Head of Vehicle Performance at Williams, expects session interruptions during the weekend, even if the conditions remain dry, he explains: “Although the track layout is very familiar, it never fails to offer a new challenge.” The weather should be cool but dry, however, there will inevitably be clouds over the mountains, which could move onto the circuit. Even if the weather remains fair, the sessions will be interrupted as the drivers push the limits of their cars.
