Mick Schumacher is expected to make his track debut with Mercedes in the days following the Spanish Grand Prix of Formula 1.

After joining the Silver Arrows as a reserve driver for the 2023 F1 season, Schumacher will take the wheel of the W14 for the first time as part of a Pirelli tire test.

The testing session will take place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in the days following the Grand Prix of Spain this weekend. Schumacher will drive on Wednesday, while George Russell will be on duty on Tuesday.

Until now, Schumacher has only been doing tests in the simulator for Mercedes but is ready to participate in race weekends if they call upon him as a reserve driver.

The German driver, who raced for Haas in 2021 and 2022, had been replaced by Nico Hülkenberg for the 2023 season.
