Red Bull will have to be careful with its balance in Montreal
The F1 is heading to Montreal for a new round of the championship. Max Verstappen is still comfortably leading the standings, but remains cautious about this particular race.
Red Bull is set to arrive in Montreal in a dominant position. The Austrian team has won all of the races this season so far. It appears to be untouchable with a car that flies on the track.
A particular circuit
Max Verstappen himself has a large lead over his main rival, his teammate Sergio Perez. In Canada, Red Bull should be heavily favored, with a car that is very fast in straight lines but also comfortable in the slow corners, specific to the circuit.
However, the Dutch team is being cautious about the upcoming Canadian weekend. With a poor car setup, Red Bull could find themselves caught off guard and struggling in certain parts of the track.
The balance of the car will be important. The equilibrium must be the exact middle ground between the speed on the long straight lines and the pace we will have in the turns. We must find a perfect balance, said the reigning two-time world champion.
Find the perfect setting
The Dutchman is eager to return to Canada, a circuit where he was successful last year and emerged victorious. Max Verstappen likes this particular track that suits him well. It’s a mix of straight lines and technical turns.

Although he has a very comfortable lead, Max Verstappen doesn’t want to be caught off guard in the championship. Sergio Perez has declared his intention to not give up and to always have ambitions for the title.
The Dutchman will therefore have to deal with the pressure from his teammate, as well as the strong comeback from the Mercedes cars behind. The setup of the single-seater will therefore be crucial.
