Kevin Magnussen tempted by the Indy 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans after F1
The Danish driver returning to Haas in 2022 would like to continue in motorsport and even participate in the Indy 500 or the 24 Hours of Le Mans after his Formula 1 career.

The Danish driver expressed his wish to continue driving for many years, especially when his F1 career is over. « I mean that when I stop F1, no matter when, I doubt that my passion will be exhausted. That’s probably another reason why I won’t continue in Formula 1 when my passion fades » said Kevin Magnussen.

In addition to repeating that his will is to continue in motorsport, he provides hints regarding the next events he would like to participate in.
“I have always been passionate about IndyCar. My father did it in the 1990s. I have always been passionate about this sport. The Indy 500, in particular, is something that has always interested me,” he said.
But that’s not all. He also indicates that the 24 Hours of Le Mans would also be a future goal, even though he already participated in this race in 2021 with his father. « We are therefore happy to have had the opportunity to race at Le Mans a few years ago, and it is a memory that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. It’s great to have been able to live this experience together. »
“I would love to do it again, but he’s not getting any younger,” the Danish man said with a touch of humor about the possibility of redoing this race with his father.
However, Kevin Magnussen is making the most of the present time, not knowing obviously what his future holds. « Who knows how long I will stay in F1, and I don’t know if there will be another opportunity. »
