No penalty for Lance Stroll following his obstruction on Bottas
Lance Stroll was under investigation after his obstruction of Valtteri Bottas. The driver's action was ultimately deemed unintentional.

The qualifications for the Hungarian Grand Prix were eventful. The traffic at the end of Q1 created some surprises.
Valtteri Bottas was on a fast lap entering turn 13 when he encountered several cars. Lance Stroll, being one of these cars, was on the racing line and therefore slowed him down in his lap. The Aston Martin driver tried to move out of the way but was prevented from doing so as several cars were coming from each side.
It is impossible to designate a culprit in this beautiful mess. The action of Lance Stroll was not deemed intentional by the stewards. After hearing both drivers, team representatives, examining the footage and radio communication from both teams, the FIA finally decided not to penalize the Canadian driver.
