Second consecutive podium for Lando Norris, who confirms the very impressive result achieved at Silverstone.
At the end of the Hungarian Grand Prix, Lando Norris first wanted to thank his many fans present at the Hungaroring after his second place.
« I have some very good supporters here. They are very loyal and follow me everywhere. Thank you to them. It was a difficult race, especially with Checo’s comeback at the end. I took advantage of the chaos at the start to gain some positions, but Max was too fast ahead. »
Returning to his team’s latest results, Norris takes the opportunity to thank his team.
« I am very happy. We might be able to fight for a pole position or podium finishes in the second part of the season. If nothing happens on Red Bull’s side, it will be difficult to chase for victories. The team has done a great job with the latest developments. Thank you to everyone. »
With this result combined with Oscar Piastri’s 5th place, McLaren confirms that it is currently the second strongest team on the grid behind Red Bull.
