Lewis Hamilton has complete trust in the FIA to ensure the safety of the drivers during the Belgian race.
Formula 1 is heading to Belgium this weekend. The Spa-Francorchamps circuit is one of the most historic in Formula 1, but also one of the most dangerous. The single-seaters are returning for the first time since the death of Dilano van’t Hoff in FRECA.

Despite the two fatal accidents that occurred at Spa-Francorchamps (Antoine Hubert in 2019 and Dilano van’t Hoff in July 2023), the seven-time world champion trusts the FIA to ensure the safety of the drivers.
« I have faith in what the FIA is doing. I don’t think we would be here if they didn’t believe that we would be safe. I trust them because they have done an incredible job in terms of safety over the past two decades, and I trust them to make the right decisions in the future », said the Mercedes driver at a press conference.
