Yuki Tsunoda receives two fines for speeding
The Japanese driver of AlphaTauri receives two small fines of 100 euros each for slight speeding in the pit lane.
Yuki Tsunoda will have to pay two small fines of 100 euros each for exceeding the speed limit by 0.1 km/h in the pit lane during the free practice session at Spa, according to a statement from the FIA.
The Japanese driver from AlphaTauri indeed drove at a speed of 80.1 km/h on two occasions, first at 1:38 pm and then again at 1:55 pm. He has therefore violated article 34.7 of the FIA regulations and will have to pay a fine of 200 euros. However, AlphaTauri team still has the option to appeal if they so desire.
