The winter tests 2024 will be held in Bahrain at the end of February
At the end of the Formula 1 Commission, which took place this Friday, July 28, on the sidelines of the Belgian Grand Prix, the FIA announced the date for next season's winter testing.
Even if there were actually few doubts about the location of the 2024 winter testing, the Formula 1 Commission has approved the pre-season testing for 2024 to be held outside of Europe. Therefore, they will indeed take place in Bahrain.
The meeting that took place this Friday mainly aimed to determine a date for these winter tests in Bahrain. They will take place from February 21st to 23rd, 2024. It’s therefore less than 10 days before the opening round of the next season, which will also take place in Bahrain from February 29th to March 2nd. This is an opportunity for teams and drivers to familiarize themselves with the track and the heat of Bahrain.
