Nico Hülkenberg will have new components on his car for the race
Nico Hülkenberg benefits from numerous new elements on his car, including a new engine, for the start of the Belgian Grand Prix. He will have to start from the pit lane.

Nico Hülkenberg will have an almost brand new car for the start of the Belgian Grand Prix this afternoon. The German and his team, Haas, have been penalized for non-compliance with the technical regulations of the competition.
First, it was revealed that Nico Hülkenberg would be using a new internal combustion engine (ICE), a turbocharger (TC), an engine heat recovery unit (MGU-H), a motor generator unit – kinetic (MGU-K), a new control electronics (CE), a new exhaust assembly (EX), a new gearbox casing and cassette (GBX C & C), as well as a new transmission, gear change components and auxiliary components (GBX DL).
According to the current regulations for the 2023 season, only four elements of each power unit component are allowed, but Hülkenberg will now have five copies of each aforementioned piece. This is a violation of Article 28.2 of the Formula 1 sporting regulations.
The driver who was supposed to start from the last position on the grid will ultimately have to start from the pit lane.
