Lando Norris has doubts about the future
Lando Norris is satisfied with the improvements that McLaren is making, allowing him to be competitive. However, the driver still believes that his team is at the peak of its performance.

McLaren has come a long way before the summer break. The British team was at the bottom of the rankings until the Austrian Grand Prix. Since that race, Zak Brown’s team has been consistently achieving good results and is now ranked 5th in the constructor championship.
Improvements that Lando Norris appreciates. The upgrades we made in Austria are the biggest upgrades as a team that McLaren has made in the past five years. In terms of having a car and trying to find improvements throughout the year, it’s the biggest improvement we’ve ever had, admits the British driver.
McLaren at the top of its game
The driver ranked 8th in the standings has confidence in his car to, why not, go for his first victory in F1. « I have more hope than I have had in recent years, but also thanks to what I know we are doing right now with the wind tunnel, the simulator, the people who are coming in, the structure that we have now », confides the Bristol native.
According to the 23-year-old driver, McLaren is close to reaching its peak performance under this regulation, which will end in 2026.
« I truly believe that we are at the strongest point. Deep down, there is this impatient game of wondering if we will last a few more years or if it is time to consider something different. »
