Max Verstappen wants to create a GT3 racing team
The two-time reigning world champion Max Verstappen has expressed his desire to create a real racing team under his own name.

Already involved in virtual racing with team Redline, Max Verstappen wishes to go even further and establish his own racing team. This team, created by the Dutch world champion, would participate in the GT3 championship. Although this idea is still in its infancy, the desire is very real and the team could enter competition in 2025 according to Dutch media. Max Verstappen is excited about this ambition: “This project energizes me,” he declared.
At Verstappen.com Racing, we already sponsor and support various racing activities of people close to me. It all started with Team Redline, and now with Verstappen.com Racing, we are also involved with Thierry Vermeulen in DTM and GTWC Sprint, as well as with my father in rallying. An entry into real racing that he wants to prepare with the utmost care.
« An ultimate goal»
For Max Verstappen, creating a GT3 team would offer an opportunity for all simulator drivers to transition into real racing, without going through karting, which remains quite exclusive.
« The ultimate goal is to create our own racing team. We will start with the GT3 class, and then we will see where the ship goes. But when I do something, I want to do it well. It’s about creating a bridge between the racing simulation and GT3. So that you can get into motorsport not only through karting, which is currently expensive. » The ambitions are set by Max Verstappen.
