Charles Leclerc traveled to Zandvoort by car from Monaco
Victim of an ear infection, Charles Leclerc was not allowed to take the plane to go to the Netherlands this weekend.

Slightly disrupted return for Charles Leclerc. As Formula 1 resumes this weekend at the Zandvoort circuit west of Amsterdam, the Ferrari driver was forced to travel by car from his home in Monaco to the Netherlands.
An unfortunate incident due to an ear infection prevented the current fifth in the drivers’ championship from taking a flight. Leclerc thus drove for nearly 15 hours across France, Luxembourg, Belgium, and finally the Netherlands to reach the coastal town of Zandvoort.
The question now is whether this very long journey and infection will or will not affect Leclerc during this race weekend. Let’s also hope for him that his health issues will be quickly resolved so as to not have to relive this kind of misadventure.
