Alfa Romeo announces the arrival of significant developments for Singapore
For the Singapore Grand Prix, Alfa Romeo is preparing to unveil a series of upgrades that should enable them to consistently compete for points.

Alfa Romeo is facing a particularly difficult season. With only 10 points on the scoreboard after 14 races, the Italian-Swiss team is currently second to last in the constructors’ standings. In the last Grand Prix, at Monza, the team led by Alessandro Alunni Bravi slightly corrected the situation by scoring a point with Valtteri Bottas finishing in 10th place. This marked the first points finish for the Finnish driver since the Canadian Grand Prix last June.
The team based in Hinwill is counting on the last races of the season to catch up and thus catch up with its rivals Haas and Williams in the standings. Signs of progress should be visible as early as Singapore, according to Alunni Bravi.
« We are going to Singapore with a lot of motivation. Being back in the Top 10 in Monza has given us a great boost of confidence. We executed a flawless race after a difficult start to the weekend. This is how we must approach every race. If we perform at our highest level, then we will be able to maximize all the opportunities. »
Months of work
Unlike Monza where power and top speed dictate the setup of the cars, the street circuit of Singapore requires a car with significant and well-balanced downforce to handle the tight corners and full throttle zones. Alfa Romeo will take advantage of this opportunity to introduce a significant package of upgrades.
« We are bringing a new and significant package of developments for Singapore, which has required a lot of effort from the team in recent months. Hopefully, it will allow us to gain many more points,” Alunni Bravi continues. « It is crucial on a circuit like Singapore, with its unique layout and weather conditions, to feel the right sensations from the beginning and improve throughout the sessions. »
Alfa Romeo should therefore, if we believe its Team Principal, have the means to climb up the hierarchy and finish the season better than it started.
