Lando Norris: “A great result for the team”
Third consecutive podium for the Briton who confirms his very good form at the end of this season.
Even though he was overtaken by his teammate Oscar Piastri, Lando Norris was very happy with his third place.
« It was a great race from start to finish. I learned from my mistake yesterday during the Sprint and I had a very good pace. I’m happy. It’s a great result for the team. »
Norris made sure to congratulate his team, credited with a magnificent pit stop, and emphasized the physical effort that this race required.
« The team made a stop in 1.8 seconds, well done guys! I had to push hard during the race with the three stops, which required a lot of effort. It was one of my toughest races for a long time. »
The Glastonbury native is back to just nine small points from Charles Leclerc’s 6th place in the championship.
