Keanu Reeves takes you into the matrix with his new four-episode documentary series, soon available on Disney+. The American actor, passionate about motor sports, tells us the short but intense story of BrawnGP, a team that only existed for one season in 2009, but managed to win a world championship and a constructors’ championship during that time.

A stable appeared at the dawn of the 2009 season, bought for a symbolic British Pound by Ross Brawn from Honda, who wanted to withdraw from Formula 1. Renamed BrawnGP, Ross’s team discovers a loophole in the new aerodynamic regulations of F1 that allows increasing the rear downforce of the cars without increasing aerodynamic drag. It is this detail that will give the team an advantage at the beginning of the season over its competitors, winning six out of the first seven races of the 2009 season, including three one-two finishes.

Of course, the documentary features the main players of BrawnGP, namely the two former drivers of the team, Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello, but above all, the former team principal, Ross Brawn. The trailer also reveals interviews with well-known figures from the world of F1. Among them, we can find the team principal of Red Bull, Christian Horner, the former CEO of Formula One Management, Bernie Ecclestone, as well as the former CEO of Ferrari, Luca di Montezemolo.
