A replica of Lando Norris’ helmet up for auction in support of the cause
One of Lando Norris' promotional helmets, signed by the driver, is being auctioned online. The auction will take place on November 17th, the first day of the F1 weekend in Las Vegas. All the proceeds will be donated to St Jude Children's Hospital.
A promotional helmet signed by Lando Norris himself will be auctioned off on November 17th, the first day of the Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend, by RM Sotheby’s. The website specifies all the details of the item, as well as the entirety of the profits that will be donated to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
This official promotional Bell HP77 helmet is designed exactly like the one used by Lando Norris during the 2022 season while driving for the McLaren Formula 1 team. Norris signed the front of the helmet with a black marker. McLaren has displayed helmets like this one in hospitality suites, paddock clubs, and other events throughout the season.
This particular helmet has a classic design, inspired by Valentino Rossi, with a matte fluorescent yellow base and blue mirror stripes. The LN logo of Norris adorns each side of the helmet, with the space between the yellow initials creating the number four. The top of the helmet also features the number four, with half of it showcasing the Union Jack as a nod to his father’s nationality, and the other half displaying the Flemish lion from the coat of arms of Flanders, a nod to his mother’s Belgian heritage. The helmet comes with a certificate of authenticity, as explained on the website.
