According to a report from the leading Hollywood website Deadline, CBS is in the early stages of developing a workplace comedy with Günther Steiner, who will be an executive producer not involved in the scriptwriting of the series. A workplace comedy is a type of humorous series that takes place in work environments, such as the show The Office.

This fictional series will take place in the world of sports. The central character is a Steiner-esque boss leading a Formula 1 team, as described by CBS. It is important to note that Steiner became a well-known personality in his country when the Netflix documentary series, Drive To Survive, was first released in 2019.

His character and pragmatic approach to things were amplified by the series. His informal language made him a big favorite among fans, with phrases often filled with profanity. These even ended up being printed on T-shirts later on.

In an interview with The Independent earlier this year, Steiner stated about his fame among Americans: “I’m not good as an actor, I just do my job, and if they film all of that, it’s good. Everything is very transparent,” before adding, “sometimes they edit what I say, but very rarely. It remains true. I think people also appreciate honesty.”

CBS is one of the largest players in network broadcasting in the United States and has produced globally renowned comedy shows such as “The Big Bang Theory” and crime series like “Les Experts” (CSI).
