Red Bull and the director of its branch, Advanced Technology, Christian Horner, have announced the arrival of the first production car, or rather, hypercar, from the Austrian brand, the RB17. In an interview with Sky Sports, the British director let slip an advanced release: originally planned to be released in 2025 during its first presentation in the summer of 2022, the hypercar will finally be released as early as this year, 2024.

What we already know

During the announcement of 2022, Red Bull promised a monster with 1250 horsepower and equipped with a V8, all while weighing only 900 kg. It will be sold in 50 units for the modest amount of 6 million dollars per unit.

Designed by Adrian Newey, Formula 1 legend and current technical director of Red Bull Racing in F1, the car will face formidable competitors in its category, notably the Aston Martin Valkyrie. Like its British counterpart, could we one day see the Red Bull RB17 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans?
