Max Verstappen to take part in the 24 Hours of Daytona on iRacing
Max Verstappen has been signed by Team Redline to participate in the virtual 24 Hours of Daytona. The Dutchman had already been signed by this team during the virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans in January 2023.

It’s not just Formula 1 that interests Max Verstappen. The triple world champion has admitted on several occasions that he would like to participate in other car championships during his career. The Dutchman would particularly like to participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Fernando Alonso, who has won the race twice with Toyota in 2018 and 2019.
While waiting to be able to really participate in the actual endurance championship, Max Verstappen will be starting in the 24 Hours of Daytona on the iRacing game, this Saturday at 1:15 pm, live on Twitch. He is part of the Team Redline team and will be sharing his car with Sebastian Job and Diogo Pinto, two professional iRacing players. The team announced the news on their Twitter account.

Verstappen had already participated in the virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans in January 2023 with the same team. However, the Red Bull driver expressed his frustration against the game rFactor, which hosted the race and experienced numerous connection problems. “They say it’s bad luck, but it’s just incompetence. They can’t even control their own game,” complained the Dutchman on his Twitch channel.
