The Australian Grand Prix will ban track invasion in 2024
The Australian organizers have made a bold decision after the chaos of last season's race end. The usual track invasion by fans at the Grand Prix's finish will be prohibited in 2024.

The spectators of the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix will no longer be allowed access to the track in 2024. This ban follows the dangerous intrusion from last year, during which spectators invaded the track while the cars were still racing.
The organization of the Australian Grand Prix announced this change to the fans in a statement released this Thursday, January 25th. The Australian Grand Prix informs that, considering the ongoing FIA investigation into the early track violation at the 2023 event, no access to the track will be allowed for spectators after the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix 2024. Regarding the future of this ban, the statement specifies that decisions regarding spectator access to the track at the end of future races will be made at a later date.
The Australian Grand Prix will take place this year from March 22nd to 24th at Albert Park in Melbourne.
