Alpine extends partnership with Shamir for its protective masks
Starting its fourth year of partnership, Alpine announced that it is extending its collaboration with Shamir, a manufacturer of optical lenses.

Shamir Optical Industry, the optical performance partner of Alpine in Formula 1 since 2021, has extended its contract with the French team for several years. As a leading producer of high-performance lenses, Shamir and Alpine have implemented multiple projects and initiatives involving Shamir’s visual performance laboratories, according to a statement released by the Viry-Châtillon team.
The statement also highlights a major development brought by Shamir: « In 2023, Shamir also introduced SHAMIR DRIVER INTELLIGENCE™ to enhance performance and safety by providing clear and sharp vision with reduced glare, both during the day and at night, and in low-light conditions. Offering exceptionally wide and clear visual fields and enhanced color contrasts, these innovative lenses help drivers adapt to light variations, reduce eye fatigue, and improve reaction time, leading to better performance on the road. »
We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be extending our partnership with Shamir for the 2024 season and beyond 🤝
They have been part of the Alpine family for over three years and we’re excited for the next chapter with them 📖
